N2 - This paper presents a novel fault tolerant control strategy for dual active bridge (DAB) converter in presence of open-circuit fault (OCF) to mitigate the effects such as overcurrent and DC bias. The operation principle of DAB converter under normal condition and fault condition is investigated. Then, the equivalent circuit of DAB converter is developed according to superposition theorem. A novel fault tolerant control method is proposed to alleviate DC bias, current stress and improve power transmission capacity compared with traditional strategy. Finally, experimental results are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy。
