An aggregated model is proposed to reduce the dimension of the nodal admittance matrix in a converter-based power system application using a multi-port network reduction method. Further, the eigenvalues of the submatrices of the nodal admittance matrix can be used to predict the terminal behavior of the aggregated model. Case studies validate theoretical analysis with experimental results.
