Abstract

This study investigates the ability of Virtual Reality to be used as a Serious Game experience to disseminate information to novice learners about the cultural heritage of Rock Art. Specifically, the study explores how non-verbal instruction serves as visual-interactive instruction. It is found through a study with 32 participants that there is a substantial uptake, and retention of this information a month after the study.
