Resumé

This paper deals with the ability of Computational Fluid Dynamics to predict downdraught at a plane wall and at a wall with large obstacles. Quite simple boundary conditions were used in this study. Predictions of the main flow characteristics and the velocity levels in the occupied zone showed reasonable results.
