Abstract
When Le Corbusier formulated his architectural vision in the 1920'ies it was partly inspired by technological breakthroughs. Researchers have proven that his approach was radical and initially rational, but also that the vision was accompanied by artistic empathy, which resulted in an architecture not only adaptable to the building industry but also tangible and personal, unifying art and technology across scale.
