Abstract

The simultaneous transfer of heat and mass in capillary-porous materials can be described by three coupled differential equations with saturation, gas pressure, and temperature as variables. In this abstract it is demonstrated how, under certain circumstances, it is crucial to include these couplings for a satisfactory description of the overall behaviour of the system.
