Abstract

This essay focuses on the exhibition of Jeppe Hein´s Modified Social Benches in public spaces in Aarhus. Primarily, I consider the question of whether relational aesthetics can contribute to the development of new urban-aesthetic experiences and can they add new dimensions to placemaking?
