Abstract

In this opening chapter, we describe the purposes of the book and put the chapters of the book into a broader context and in relation to each other. This includes an initial discussion of the notion of 'critical narrative inquiry' and different ways of approaching a critique of narrative in organizational research. We then describe the organization of the book including a small introduction to each chapter in the book.
