title = "Definition of Geometry for SSG Breakwater at Hanstholm Location: calculations of expected power production for crest levels higher than optimal",
abstract = "The present report is the written documentation of the work carried under a consultancy project agreement between WaveEnergy AS and Aalborg University (AAU). The purpose of the study is to calculate the expected power production for crest levels higher than the optimal obtained in the previous study {\textquotedblleft}Definition of Geometry for SSG breakwater at Hanstholm location{\textquotedblright}, Contract Report no 89. This became necessary as requirement from the turbine people who claimed it was not feasible for a turbine to work to work with less than 1.7 m of head. Despite this had already been proven not to correspond to reality in the WaveDragon case, calculations on power production for crest levels higher than 1.5 m have been here compiled. This study develops within the {\textquotedblleft}Feasibility study for integrated wave energy in the new outer breakwater in the port of Hanstholm{\textquotedblright}; the project has been financed by Innovation Norway and AAU is responsible for wave climate study and geometrical layout.",
