title = "Desenul de arhitectur{\u a} computațional{\u a}",
abstract = "In this current historical moment, architecture, maintaining its role as a mirror of society, incorporates and is incorporated by the digital age: it unfolds both inside and outside of virtual spaces. Karl Chu noted recently that - if for le Corbusier the machine was in the garden (both the lawn mowing machine, but also the house, as a machine to live in) - now the garden is in the machine (any world, including the real world, can and is simulated in virtual space).The way in which contemporary architecture is marked by the digital revolution comes first and foremost through retooling our profession - by using new tools in our design practices. Designing almost exclusively using computers is now the norm in architecture. If until recently, computational architecture proposed computers as simple drawing tools, computation is now increasingly used as an assistant in conceptualizing and analyzing architectural designs.",
