Abstract
A new analytical estimation approach is proposed to model and analyze Differential Mode (DM) EMI noise of
grid-tied inverter within the 9-150 kHz frequency range. Hence, the proposed method characterizes the generated
emission based on the double Fourier analysis and closed-loop admittance. The analytical approach is shown to
successfully estimate the EMI emission for the considered case studies with an error of less than 1.3 dB in most
frequency ranges.
