Abstract

To achieve the high-quality power supply of the electric propulsion ship, this paper investigates the distributed secondary control problem for AC shipboard microgrids (SMGs) under disturbances to guarantee the reliable sailing of the ship. Firstly, general noise is introduced to describe the various disturbances in the marine environment considering the presence of colored noise. To effectively tolerate disturbances of the AC SMG, a distributed noise-resilient secondary control strategy is proposed. Furthermore, the proposed strategy is proved to be noise-to-state (NOS) stable based on the random differential equations (RDEs) theory. Then, the frequency and voltage of DGs are maintained in the allowable deviation range under disturbances. And the upper bounds of the second-order moment of the frequency and voltage deviation can be obtained. Finally, hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) experiments demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed strategy, ensuring high-quality and reliable power supply for electric propulsion systems in the AC SMG.
