Abstrakt

This book argues for an interdisciplinary approach to studying energy transitions, and presents an integrated socio-technical and psychological perspective. It makes a case for viewing ‘sustainable behaviour’ in its wider sociotechnical context, addressing both theory and practice and advocating an interdisciplinary research agenda that recognises the value of psychological perspectives when seeking to create new sociotechnical pathways. This book will be of great interest to students and scholars of energy transitions, environmental psychology, sustainable development and innovation studies, as well as environment and energy more generally.
