Abstract

This section concerns the European support scheme for TV programming within the subprogramme MEDIA in Creative Europe (2014-2020), the European Commission’s framework programme for support to the culture and audiovisual sectors. With the new policy incentives in the new framework programme for 2021-2027 recently published, this section inspects the achievements of and weaknesses in the latest TV support scheme within Creative Europe.
