Under overskriften "Variable works and aural scores.

Angående fri improvisation kunne nogle emner skilles ud i egne underkategorier.

Øvrige kategorier inkluderer en som beskriver "General accounts of music history, dealing thoroughly with themes concerning new improvisation forms and/or improvisation", bibliografi, en liste over "Exhibitions of new notations and their catalogues" og, med mindre omfattende sigte, det tilgrænsende område musikterapi og udvalgte optagelser.

Bibliographical research has taken place over time, and the methods employed and steps taken are accounted for in each category. It deals with both editions and quotings of open compositions and with writings related to these - and with writings related to free improvisation.
