Abstract
Geometry within school mathematics is a form of geometry that leads to a restricted understanding of space. Despite the fact that it seeks to develop spatial abilities of students, and also provide them with a set of tools which can help them to solve any situation about real life, about real objects.
This restricted view of space is promoting geometry, and mathematics itself, to be perceived as an abstract knowledge, constituted far from human senses. However, by doing so, a variety of contradictions emerge, showing that is impossible to separate them.
