Abstract

WORLDWIDE ELECTRICAL GRIDS are expecting to become smarter in the next future. In this sense, intelligent MicroGrids able to operate in island or connected to the grid, will be a key point to cope with new functionalities, making the grid more stable, flexible, and efficient, thus allowing at the same time the integration of renewable energy resources.
