This paper investigates the difference in the DQ impedance measurement using different perturbation signals. It is revealed that the nonlinear dynamics of converters in the dq-frame generate frequency-coupling responses which are overlapped at different frequencies when the multi-frequency perturbation is injected, leading to the inaccurate impedance measurement result. On the contrary, with the single-frequency injection, the frequency-coupling responses can be easily identified and removed in the impedance measurement. Simulation and experimental results confirm the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
