    Abstract

The purpose of the developmental project "Dance with the future" was to test a new professional area for educators, pedagogues and social workers, and at the same time to offer teachers within this educational sector a novel opportunity for competence acquisition and professional growth. This project was targeted for teachers in education and caregiving at the Danish University College North (UCN) and has been evaluated by means of a qualitative case study, which is described in the present report. The scientific documentation collects evidence for the application of arts-based facilitation tools in change processes, and on opportunities to foster creativity and innovation at UCN. The social technologies applied draw from Expressive Arts therapy and systems thinking, respectively by means of arts-based coaching (ABC) and Theory U.
