Abstract
The paper aims at the discussion of why some work design questions are taken up in the technology management process, and other questions often are neglected or changed through the management process. It is described how the agenda for technology management is created through a complex political process, where many different actors act according to different interpretations of problems and solutions related to technology and to working environment problems. This approach is used to analyse a case study, where semi autonomous work groups are developed as a solution to the problems of repetitive work situations.
