Abstract
This paper refers into various ways in simulation the Photovoltaic (PV) module behaviour under any combination of solar irradiation and ambient temperature. There are three different approaches presented here briefly and one of them is
chosen because of its good accuracy and relatively low computational time. After the decision of the proper model, a process which is called parameter extraction is going to take place in order to fully determine the unknowns of the model and therefore be able to simulate it. Last but not least the results and the verification process are going to take place in order to validate the proper function of the model using widely used simulation software and the manufacturer’s datasheet.
