Abstrakt
This paper presents the power performance of the Oscillating Water Column (OWC) wave energy converter installed on the Island of Pico. The performance assessment of the device is based on real performance data gathered over the last years during normal operation. In addition to the estimation and assessment of the wave energy converting capabilities, an investigation has also been made on the transmission of the wave power through the conversion chain.
