Abstract
This chapter reports on the design and practice of virtual learning environments based on the pedagogical approach of Problem Oriented Project Pedagogy (POPP). Problem Oriented Project Pedagogy is situated within the field of Computer Supported Collaborative Learning and the differences between POPP and the more well-known Problem Based Learning (PBL) is discussed.
