Abstract

The study documents the efficiency of a newly developed odor treatment facility for managing problems related to anaerobic influent at a wastewater treatment plant. The facility was put into operation in December 2016 and a field campaign has been conducted during spring and summer of 2017. The monitoring data have subsequently been used to confirm the applicability of existing models for predicting air-water mass transfer of volatile gases under high turbulence.
