Study on Near-Field Focusing Implemented by 3D-Printed Holographic Impedance Surfaces at 28 GHz

Abstract

This paper proposes a 3D-printed holographic impedance surface (HIS) for near-field focusing. The focusing spot at different distances from the HIS is studied. The good focusing performance can be achieved when the focusing distance from the HIS is lower than 5λ.
