Abstract
Vibroacoustic therapy is a treatment using the relaxing effects of
sedative music combined with pulsed, sinusoidal low frequency tones between
35Hz-70Hz, transmitted through bass speakers built into a bed or chair. This
treatment has shown effects in reducing arousal level in girls and women with
Rett syndrome, and also reducing muscle tone.
