Abstract

This paper describes an evaluation of the role of self-produced sounds in participants' sensation of ownership and control of virtual wings in an immersive virtual reality scenario where the participants were asked to complete an obstacle course flight while exposed to four different sound conditions The experiment resulted in either none or very small differences between the experimental conditions.
