Abstrakt

Composite measures (CM) of quality of health care process indicators (QOH-PI) provides a unified approach to operationalise quality of health care (QOH) within respective disease areas. However, the use of CM of QOH-PI in research and quality assurance is counterproductive if the measure is unreliable or it does not coincide with patient satisfaction, life quality, mortality etc. In this study, we aimed at investigating to which extend CM of QOH-PI have been validated in the scientific literature.
