Abstrakt

User body effects on mobile antennas and wireless systems for the fifth-generation (5G) mobile network are analyzed in this paper. Effects on different antenna technologies in mobile handsets include single antenna systems, multiple antenna systems, and the antenna arrays are discussed with simulations and measurements. The corresponding impacts on wireless networks are studied as well with raytracing simulations. Several technologies on mitigating user body effects have also been provided.
