Description
Since 2013, Aalborg University (Denmark) and Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France) have been running a short course on numerical modelling and control of wave energy converters. The course is affiliated to the European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference (EWTEC). The course adresses the following topics: •Wave energy converstion techniques •State of the Art of Numerical modelling of WECs, limitations and alternative approaches •Experimental modeling •Control of WECs The course is usually run over the two weeks prior to the EWTEC conference (every two years). Next edition of the course may be held in Cork (Ireland) in connection to the EWTEC2017 conference. Check on the EWTEC website for updates.Period | 25 Aug 2015 → 4 Sep 2015 |
