Description

Established in 2010 the Student Urban Development Network (SUDN) provides UGT and PGT students within the Department of Planning and Environmental Management opportunities to expand their professional networks. Engaging with built environment professionals from sectors within Planning and Regeneration, Environmental Management, Real Estate and Urban Design. SUDN organise events that provide networking opportunities for students to engage with North West (England) built environment professionals beyond traditional departmental teaching/careers events.

From 2013-17, I acted as the Staff Coordinator for SUDN. I appointed and managed the SUDN Committee [four students per year UGT/PGT], assisting them with the organisation and delivery of professional/networking events.
