    Description

This presentation works as an empirical extension of my theoretical argument, and is based on - among other things - on Benhabib´s claim that we face a pragmatic imperative in contemporary diverse societies. An imperative for risky dialogues with each other about our identities and preferences. Hence, the paper analyses how various Danish opinion makers speak about gender in conjunction with other types of identity markers.
