Description

The Aalborg Centre for PBL in Engineering Science and Sustainability under the auspices of UNESCO (UCPBL)(Aalborg University) organized and hosted a four day training program entitled "Academic leadership for pedagogical change via/ towards PBL". The program counted with a group of 13 enthusiastic, passionate and driven South African and English colleagues, from 9 different universities. The overall aim is to develop a road map for change in their home institutions towards more student-centered, problem-oriented, collaborative, competence-based learning environments.
South Africa participants are part of the collaborative project Innovative Engineering Curricula (ICE) funded by Newton Fund and Royal Academy of Engineering.
