In times of crisis – such as the situation triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic, but also in times of disruption, managers tend to claim that they should “innovate their business model” or that “business model innovation is a priority”. Building on insights from latest research, in this talk (and the relative background paper) I offer different insights on how to think about business model innovation in times of crisis.
