Description

We presented the poster "GPU Virtualization Service for CNN Offloading at the Edge" at the EU KDT-JU CLEVER Project Plenary Meeting in May 2024. The focus was on using GPU virtualization for AI acceleration at the network edge, leveraging the GVirtuS framework. The study explored its application in CLEVER use cases such as smart agriculture, augmented reality, and digital twin systems. Results showed efficient resource utilization with no loss of accuracy, though execution was slower, which can be optimized with better communication methods and advanced AI workloads.
