I have been appointed as deputy chair of the Risk Management Thought Leadership Committee of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA), a registered education and professional institute in the United Kingdom. The role of the Deputy Chair is to support the Chair in executing the functions of the committee, which is responsible for monitoring the quality and performance of various volunteer working parties. The role is voluntary in nature and does not involve any remuneration.
