Description
Workshop 10: Guidelines on adaptive thermal comfort application in building design and operationOrganiser: Runa T. Hellwig
Adaptive thermal comfort guidelines have been developed within the work of Annex 69: “Strategy and practice of adaptive thermal comfort in low energy buildings”. The guidelines are based on a framework for adopting adaptive thermal comfort principles in design and operation of buildings. The guidelines aim to bridge the gap between adaptive thermal comfort theory and real-world building design and operation.
Talks:
Runa T. Hellwig: Overcoming challenges and barriers in applying the adaptive principles in building design and operation
Zhaojun Wang: How to set the heating temperature in winter in North China?
Marcel Schweiker: Behavioural adaptation under warm conditions
Runa T. Hellwig: Designing occupant behaviour opportunities intentionally: Process, stakeholders, roles
