Hosted by Dr. Sören Becker and Prof. Timothy Moss of the Urban infrastructures and human-environment relations research group.

September 2018 - April 2019: Guest of the research group 'Urban infrastructures and human-environment relations' research group, hosted by group leader Dr. Timothy Moss, at the 'Integrative Research Institute on Transformations of Human-Environment Systems' (IRI THESys), Humboldt University, Berlin.

The purpose of the stay was to expand my methodological understanding of ethnographic approaches, which was provided by anthropologist Gretchen Bakke, PhD, and Professor of European ethnography, Dr. Jörg Niewöhner.

Furthermore, the purpose was to build up connections to researchers interested in energy democracy and power struggles in the energy sector, which Prof. Timothy Moss, a historian, and Dr. Sören Becker, geographer, provided, while also connecting me with Dr. Ludger Gailing, a scholar of spatial planning; They have all worked together on a recent publication on "Conceptualizing Germany’s Energy Transition - Institutions, Materiality, Power, Space".
