Kan vi genetablere den danske konsensus?

Activity: Attending an eventOrganisation or participation in workshops, courses, seminars, exhibitions or similar

Description

In spring 2025, the BONSAI organisation invited LCA experts and practitioners to Aalborg University in Copenhagen to try to establish a new Danish consensus in the field of Life Cycle Assessment. Inspired by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency's major project in 1997-2003, called "The Danish LCA Method and Consensus Project", the purpose was to investigate whether agreement could be reached on a common approach to working with LCA in light of new standards and conditions in both Denmark and the EU. Titled "LCA United", authorities, companies, consultants, and researchers were invited to discuss approaches to LCA with the scope of establishing common ground and thus being able to play a better role on the European stage and be at the forefront of, for example, the revision of the PEF and ISO standards. The workshops and the output was in Danish.
