Description
The 15 Two-Part Inventions (BWV 772-786) by J.S. Bach will be the subject of a lecture-concert at the Plurinational Music Conservatory (CPM) of La Paz, 20 March, 18:30 hours. Gissel Velarde Bolivian researcher and pianist from Aalborg University, will present a new computational method for melodic structural analysis that has been applied to the 15 Two-Part Bach's inventions, which have relevance in the field of Music Technology in various applications such as: recommender systems, education and music production, music files and musicology. As part of the program, the 15 inventions of J.S. Bach will be performed by outstanding students of the CPM.Period | 20 Mar 2014 |
