Activity: Attending an eventOrganisation or participation in workshops, courses, seminars, exhibitions or similar

Description

As part of the LOVISA project, a workshop was held in Nuuk, Greenland, as part of the Greenland Science Week 2019. The workshop gathered actors from Finland, Greenland, Sweden, and Denmark who hold experiences with how extractive projects impact the lives of Arctic Indigenous peoples and local communities, and how these groups have sought to obtain influence in assessments and decisions. Facilitating experience-based dialogues, the workshop aspired to develop new ideas and guidelines that can inspire current assessment practices.
