Multimodal analysis of artefacts and communication

Description

The aim of the course is partly to orient the participants in modern theories concerning multimodal analysis of artefacts and communication, partly that the participant shall acquire competence to do empirical analysis. The participants will be able to specify their own research questions and test them in analytical work, based on the theoretic perspectives. After the course, the participants will have the expected competence to • Describe basic multimodal concepts • Use central concepts and models to analyze empirical examples
