Description
In this presentation we contextualize Danish and international research policies for the humanities, looking at broader trends within research management and research evaluation, such as mission-oriented research and innovation policies, open science, and mode-2-research. The presentation makes the argument that scholars within the humanities and social sciences needs to be more heavily involved in the design of impact indicators as well as developing new partnership approaches to research, such as Vores Museum. We conclude with an example of a new study of the configuration and impact of partnerships between Danish universities and museums, conducted in conjunction with the VELUX FOUNDATION project "Mapping the Public Value of Humanities” (2016-2021).
