Description
A case study of tribological research on sustainable lubricants, spanning researchers and labs from the Work Function Division at Danfoss Power Solutions and the Division of Machine Elements at Luleå University of Technology. The lecture presented research findings on tribological characteristics of sustainable hydraulic lubricants, which can outperform their toxic petroleum-based counterparts but fall outside of established industrial norms for lubricant viscosity. The lecture concluded by discussing challenges of implementing sustainable technical solutions within infrastructures that have evolved in tack with dominant unsustainable technologies.Period | 23 Nov 2021 |
