Starting from the tension between the public and the private and the role of the PSM, Jannick Kirk Sørensen introduced the concept of "personalized enlightenment", as in content that is very relevant to the individual citizens. This theme refers to editorially curated recommendation systems that would take into account the values of the #PSM. The concept highlights the tension between being a competitive PSM and fulfilling the values. He reminded us about the need to define the "we" whenever an algorithm is used for personalization, and rethink the seemingly technological nature of the practice.
