According to Ethnomethodology, societal order is (re)produced and accounted for in vivo by its members in their everyday activities Ethnomethodology was influenced by Schutzian phenomenology. My talk: What that input was, what the main claims of Ethnomethodology are, and how empirical research can be done without losing the phenomenon of interest.
