A technical rule is to be developed for workplaces that have special requirements for protection against harmful external influences at workplaces in rooms and workplaces that are not completely enclosed or
outdoors in accordance with the general requirements of the workplace ordinance in the appendix No. 5.1 specified. Assessment standards (see ASR V3 section 5.3) indicate the assessment of the hazards and protective measures, in addition, exemplary solutions for their implementation are to be described. This includes the current state of the art, occupational medicine and hygiene as well as reliable ergonomic findings to be taken into account. In particular, depending on the use of the workplace and the activities carried out there, to avoid risks to the safety and health of employees due to health-endangering external influences specific measures (technical, organizational, personal) to describe. Any existing loopholes in other ASR must be checked, to be presented and, if necessary, to be provided with possible solutions, e.g. requirements outdoor path to the workplace (ASR A1.8 traffic routes and ASR A1.5 / 1,2 Floors only apply to buildings). When creating the assessment criteria and requirements for protective measures the following hazard factors must be taken into account: a) weather conditions (e.g. precipitation, wind, solar UV radiation), b) thermal loads (heat and cold), as well as further c) Air pollutants (e.g. ozone) when doing outdoor activities.
