The Creative interventions, Art and Rehabilitative Technology (CiART) laboratory aims to forge new ground in design research and creative practice.
CiART is a vehicle to consolidate research in interactive media art, design, digital technology and its application in allied health related disciplines.
In design research and creative practice, it has a particular focus on therapeutic applications and complementary care.
It will serve as an interface to bring together leading academics, media artists, technologists, and designers with experts’ in psychology, neuroscience, motor learning, therapy and allied health practice to invent, develop and design the next generation of therapeutic interventions.
CiART is directed by Vice Chancellors’ Research Fellow Dr Jonathan Duckworth.
