Description

On 2 May, five researchers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (SSH), Professor Henrik Halkier and Assistant Professor Jonatan Leer from the Department of Culture and Learning, Professor Christian Jantzen and Associate Professor Stinne Gunder Strøm Krogager from the Department of Communication and Psychology and Assistant Professor Kristina Maria Madsen from AAU Business School on a study trip to Brussels with the aim of profiling Aalborg University's SSH research on a European level. In the EU's current framework program for research and innovation, Horizon Europe, compared to the previous framework program, specific contributions from the social sciences and humanities are requested to a greater extent, and at the same time, plans are being made to integrate SSH research into several projects. The researchers also hope that with the visit to the commission, they can contribute to the development of the EU's future framework program for research and innovation, which will come into force in 2028.
