This workshop introduced participating lecturers from 17 universities and teaching institutions in Africa to the AfricaLics Master Module on Innovation and Development developed by the AfricaLics secretariat. The module is available free of charge at www.africalics.org under 'Resources' and can be used to teach and develop curricula in the field of Innovation and Development. It is based on the Problem Based Learning pedagogy and also introduces other student focussed active learning methods.
